EPR reporting software · PPWR compliance · EU packaging
Gramta takes EPR and PPWR compliance off your plate.
Gramta is an EPR & PPWR packaging compliance platform for EU sellers. Send it your sales and packaging spec once: it maps out what applies, prepares each country's EPR report down to the article number and builds your PPWR declaration. Get all the legal info for each country and what applies specifically to you in one place. You review, we do the heavy lifting. No spreadsheets, no combing through laws.
No credit card needed. Privacy by design.

“Previously I had to manually check sales data for every SKU, country & marketplace.”

“For any small or mid-sized producer, the time this saves makes it well worth a serious look.”
Björn SievertHead of Purchasing, Björklunds KafferosteriWhy now
Marketplaces ask for your EPR number first. Authorities check second.
Marketplaces such as Amazon already ask for your EPR registration number before they let you sell, and even suspend sellers who can't show one. Registration isn't back-office paperwork anymore – you need it to even sell.
Authorities that hold the EPR register of who's signed up already check it against everyone who sells physical products. The businesses that never registered are easily found, and fined. No warning. And in most EU markets the EPR duty starts from the first package – there is no minimum volume. Registering now, on your terms, is the calm way through.
Why spreadsheets and consultants don't work for EPR
You've got two options for EPR today. Both leave the hard part to you.
Do it yourself in a spreadsheet
Manual EPR reporting means rebuilding packaging weights by hand for every country and every deadline, while tracking those deadlines yourself. Again and again and again.
- Endless manual work, every single period
- You read and interpret each law yourself
- No audit trail for when authorities ask for it
Legacy advanced tools or consultants
Legacy EPR software is too advanced and consultants too expensive. It's labour-intensive and built for compliance departments or endless pockets, not you.
- Complex, legal-jargon and hard to use
- Hours and hours of manual data entry
- Little to no guidance – you're on your own
The part no spreadsheet fixes
You file a number, and hope.
EPR needs a defensible audit trail behind every reported kilogram – and you need to manually research, monitor and update every change in every country you sell into. PPWR expects a signed Declaration of Conformity with the technical file behind it. If anyone asks how you got your numbers and how you comply with EPR or PPWR, right now there's no honest answer you could give.
That's the part Gramta takes off you – for both laws at once.
One platform · both EPR and PPWR
Set your packaging once. It powers both EPR and PPWR.
One packaging profile in Gramta – your materials, weights and recyclability – prepares every EU market's EPR report and your PPWR declaration. One source of truth, both obligations handled.
Why one profile does both: recyclability is a single assessment for both laws – and from ~2030 the EU ties your EPR fees to your PPWR grade (eco-modulation). Get the packaging right once, and it pays off on both sides.
How it works
You send the sales. Gramta does the rest.
Gramta takes you from the sales data you already have to ready EPR reports and PPWR declarations in four steps. Most of it runs without you, and there's practical guidance at every point where it doesn't – with what you need to do, and what you don't, clearly explained.
Step 01
Connect your sales
Upload sales data or (soon) connect your store. Gramta reads every order and maps it to the right markets and products automatically, so you can see what you need to do where.
Step 02
Set your packaging once
Upload your packaging material data, mapped automatically. Where an SKU is missing any details, Gramta drafts the exact emails to the right suppliers to retrieve them – so you fix real gaps, not a form or manual setup marathon.
Step 03
Gramta works out what applies
Every market's material categories worked out, and every product that needs a PPWR declaration flagged. Where further clarifications are needed for EPR or PPWR, Gramta asks you questions to get to the right answer.
Step 04
Everything's ready to file
EPR reports per country, down to the gram, plus a PPWR Declaration of Conformity – every figure traceable to a sale and a spec.

From our pilot programme
“Being able to upload CSV/Excel files from Amazon & Shopify orders to get accurate EPR reports has already saved us a lot of time & money.
Previously I had to manually check sales data for every SKU, country & marketplace. This was time consuming and often led to human error.”

From our pilot programme
“Gramta gives us a clear EPR report right away, plus broad guidance: the legislation, the deadlines and the national and EU-wide requirements.
For any small or mid-sized producer, the time this saves makes it well worth a serious look.”

Why you can trust the numbers
Gramta is built by EU compliance experts, on the EPR and PPWR regulations.

Why we built Gramta
We built Gramta because we've been on your side of this.
We've spent years building EU-compliance software that hundreds of companies across the EU and beyond rely on every day.
We talked to hundreds of companies that have to comply with EPR and PPWR, and they confirmed what we felt: spreadsheets are not enough anymore, and every packaging tool is either a glorified spreadsheet or a consultant's dashboard buried in complex legal jargon.
So we built the one we wanted: minimal-intervention, with smart gap-analysis resolved for you. We read the regulations so you don't have to, tell you in plain words what applies, and stay beside you the whole way. We're always here to help.
PPWR is now in force
PPWR is in force. So are your EPR deadlines.
Since 12 August 2026, packaging can only go on the EU market with a Declaration of Conformity and the technical file behind it – and every market you sell into still expects its EPR report on its own schedule. Gramta keeps your packaging data in order – materials, weights and recyclability – and prepares both: each country's EPR report and your PPWR declaration. Get started today.
PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40) has applied since 12 August 2026.
Get started
Start with your registration plan. Add the reporting when you're ready.
Tell us where you sell; we set up your workspace and build your plan. When the reporting and declarations should stop being your job, a person enables them for your markets and does the first one with you.
- Your registration plan for the markets you sell into – steps, sources, dates
- Reporting and declarations enabled for your markets through guided setup
- A person by your side for the first registration, the first report, every question
- Packaging data only – Gramta doesn't need your customers' details
Still unsure?
Not sure Gramta is right for you? That's fair.
You don't have to have it all figured out yet. We've been through EPR and EU packaging compliance ourselves, so the whole point of Gramta is that you're not doing this alone. Look around, and reach out any time with a question. A real person answers, no pressure and no credit card needed.
Free EPR fee data · no signup
Compare EPR fees – and find the right PRO for your packaging.
In many EU markets you choose which PRO to pay, and for the same material one scheme can charge several times more than another. Gramta's free fee explorer puts 3,212 sourced rates from 27 EU markets in one place: estimate your yearly fee from your own materials, compare PROs side by side, and check every rate against its primary source.
